William Anderson is a Senior Contributing Economist to American Economic Services and is an associate professor of economics at Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Maryland. Dr. Anderson has written hundreds of articles and papers in academic and popular press publications on subjects as diverse as the economics of energy and the recent Duke Lacrosse Case. Beginning his career as a journalist, Bill Anderson also has worked as an economist for the City of Chattanooga's Office of Economic and Community Development. He is the former executive director of the Chattanooga Manufacturers Association, has spoken before business, civic, and political organizations, and has testified before legislative committees. Dr. Anderson brings strong analytical and writing skills to American Economic Services and has a background not only in economic analysis, but also statistics and econometrics.
